Advancing Innovation: 40-Month Project Meeting in Greece

Last week, the ABraytCSPfuture consortium convened at the ARTEMIS Laboratory (CPERI/CERTH) in Thessaloniki, Greece, to review progress and discuss the next steps for the project.

The meeting provided an opportunity to present updates on ongoing work, upcoming deliverables, and the roadmap toward the project’s prototype, as well as to address technical challenges and share solutions. It was also a valuable occasion for partners to exchange expertise, explore synergies, and strengthen collaboration.

Key highlights of the meeting included:

Visits to ARTEMIS’ experimental facilities, showcasing research on thermochemical energy storage, CO₂ capture, Li-ion batteries, and hydrogen technologies.

Discussions on prototype development and the planning of final testing phases.

Sharing insights on the potential impacts for renewable energy integration and grid flexibility.

The consortium extends its sincere thanks to all partners, and especially to CERTH for organizing the event, for their dedication and teamwork. Together, the project continues to advance the frontiers of CSP and energy storage technologies.

Stay tuned as ABraytCSPfuture enters its final phase, with new results to be shared in upcoming conferences and publications.
